Translations of Stanford Bank Game

SBG computer reports and educational materials can be translated into any Microsoft windows supported language. Any academic institution can translate any of the players manuals. We only ask that you provide us with a final version of the translation as a Microsoft word file so we can make this available to other institutions.  HRW takes no responsibility for the accuracy of such work as "transformation" is perhaps a more accurate term.  Banking terminology is a problem in any language so exact translations are often problematical.

We currently have a Portuguese (done in Portugal), a Turkish, a Polish, and a Spanish (Latin American), edition.  For version 12 we have Spanish (Latin American), Polish, and Korean editions.  That is we have the software and at least a basic manual.  If you want one of these editions we will try and obtain the most recent version of the student materials from the authors for you to review.

There is an additional $500 fee to cover programming costs to provide foreign language versions of the software. If we have a  version of the software there is no additional fees for the foreign language editions. To do foreign language editions we provide you with a special file that contains the current language used in the printouts. You fill in the replacement terminology of your choice. You must have Microsoft Windows operating in the appropriate language and script. In other words, you cannot do an Arabic or Chinese translation on a computer that is running windows in English.

The finished file is returned to us and we then create a special edition of the game for your use.  English language users can modify the current terminology in the same fashion.
