A license is not required for use of the web version of SBG. It will be available in late 2008. Students in the United States will pay by credit card. Outside the United States users will pay for their students. A license will be required if we provide SBG software.
Academic only License - $20.00. This license requires per student payment for use of the SBG software. It expires when the web based version is available. Academic use is $40.00 per student undergraduate and $75.00 per student graduate. Legal releases are included with our content and should allow you to copy any of the manuals at any copy facility. We specifically allow for disk distribution to save reproduction costs Please note that the above prices are for accredited degree courses where the bulk of the tuition fees are paid by students. Continuing education, Execuitive MBA, or courses where tuition is paid by commercial entities are specifically defined as commercial usage. Non-profit fees are $150 per student. For profit usage is $250 per student. The copy release requires a payment for each student that uses the SBG software, it is not based on reproduction of the student materials. .
Commercial use License - $1000.00.
This license also allows for academic usage at normal academic prices. However the
Licensee agrees to pay a per student fee of $150 per student non profit or $250 in all non-academic
courses . Commercial users, or
anyone who needs to have the SBG software for any reason, will need this license requiring
a per student fee.
The file copies of the manuals are all Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft word files. The latter should only be requested if you plan to translate or modify course materials.
You can print a copy of the license. Please complete all sections - especially the top of page one - and send two completed copies of the license to HRW. If your organization requires an invoice we will e-mail one on request. One copy of the license will be returned.
